First of 3 Psych against Cancer compilations, compiled & released by the Psych Lovers group (proceeds from these collections go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, one of the largest British charities. These tracks are on the album The Velvet night, released on Fuzz Club records in March of 2019. The Band is from Kettering, UK.
There is debate amongst those with deep knowledge of all things Krautrock whether this band is truly from 1973. The album was reissued by Lion productions in 2010 on CD, with extensive liner notes that say the band was German, the songs were all from different recording sessions & there were only 25 copies pressed of the original vinyl. Hmmmmm...
these tracks were recorded live at Le Guess Who? Festival in Utrecht, Netherlands in 2018. Ryley Walker is a guitarist & singer-songwriter from Rockford, IL, USA. Kikagaku Moyo (which translates to “geometric patterns”) formed in 2012 in Tokyo, Japan
a German Krautrock “supergroup”, with tracks recorded at Dieter dierks’ sound studio, where the musicians were offered drugs in exchange for recording. The band was never a true group, and the recordings were released without the participants knowledge by Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser on his Kosmiche Music label (musicians included Klaus Schulze, Harald Grosskopf, Maunuel Gottsching, Dieter Dierks & Jurgen Dollase)
This was just reissued on Fire records for Record Store Day 2021. The songs were recorded between 10/1998 & 01/2001, only 500 copies of the original CD were made.
