Loops of samples left behind by the late Dieter Moebius, presented by musician & composer Tim Story. Moebius' widow helped to collect the sounds, Story worked with Hans-Joachim Roedelius, Michael Rother, Sarah Davachi amongst others to reimagine & rework the samples.This work is being presented as a multichannel audio installation at museums, festivals & galleries.
Candy Floss was a collective of musicians centered in & around Minnesota (Mid America), led by Dale Menton (frontman of the band the Gestures). Most of the bands on this collection were studio only creations, and most of the recordings were never pressed to vinyl. Only a few have ever appeared on other comps.
The track is a cover of iron butterfly. A Peruvian band founded in 1967, their first album was “A Bailar Go Go” on the MAG label, released in 1968, was all covers.This reissue on Munster records was released in June 2021
The stage name of German musician Joachim Heinz Ehrig, also a member of the German prog band Grobschnitt. He has released a number of solo recordings under the name Eroc.
Studio jams with a veritable Who's Who of German Prog/Krautrock artists, recorded at Dieter Dierks studio in the early 1970's. The recordings with later released without the musicians approval.
