Ann Savoy is a member of several groups, including Savoy-Doucet Cajun Band, Magnolia Sisters, Savoy Family Band and Ann Savoy & Her Sleepless Knights. She is also the author of "Cajun Music, A Reflection of a People", about the history of Cajun and Zydeco music.
Steel guitarist/ banjo, dobro player Rusty YOUNG, who was a lifetime member of POCO {formed in summer 1968}, died April 14th at age 75. Before joining POCO, he was in the Denver, Colorado group The Böenzee Cryque, which also included future Poco drummer George Grantham. / PRONOUNCED: "Ben-zee Crick" ... ALSO ... Paul Cotten of Poco died July 31st, at age 78. He wrote Poco's 1979 hit song "Heart of the Night". Before Poco he was in 'Illinois Speed Press'.
