Resistance Radio: The Man In The High Castle Album is a musical companion to the Amazon Prime series "The Man in The High Castle," based on author Philip K. Dick's book. Set in 1962, the series explores an alternative history of what it would be like if the Allied Powers had actually lost WWII, and Japan and Germany ruled the United States. The album was produced by Danger Mouse and Sam Cohen, and features 18 songs from 1962 to coincide with the theme of the show.
The Ghetto Mysticism Band led by Stanton Davis was originally formed in Boston, comprising musicians that Stanton had met at school at Berklee and NEC. I only got introduced to them recently when Fred played them on one of his many radio programs. Don't ask me which one.
