He also had a successful solo career, recording over 50 studio albums, and having 21 chart singles from 1958 to 1980.
Warden has been around since the late 1980's; he is a rare two-time member of The Texas Music Hall of Fame, both as a solo artist and as a member of The Wagoneers.
Recorded in mono through valve microphones, and mixed live to tape, using a one-track 1/4" Ampex tape machine (professional recording usually used 1/2 inch-wide reel-to-reel tape)
