Phantom Siita is an idol group that I discovered was formed by the very popular and very talented Ado (who is in a later song!), and this song was produced by Kikuo, one of my favorite Vocaloid producers. The music video is fun as well!
If this song had come out in 2018, younger me would probably have died from happiness ngl. Kenshi Yonezu is one of my favorite if not most favorite Japanese artists, and AiNA THE END’s voice is really unique and complements Yonezu’s well. An extremely catchy song!
Yet another song I listened to for the artists only to find out it was an anime opening (Hell’s Paradise, which happens to be one of my top manga of all time). Sheena Riingo and Daiki Tsuneta collabing is my multiverse of madness!!!
This song samples Rock the Boat by Aaliyah, which is actually so cool in my opinion. Thank you Fujii Kaze for always releasing good music. The visuals for this song and its music video were also very colorful and pretty!
Do I like Black Butler? No, but is this song a top 50 anime opening? Absolutely. Ruki, the vocalist, has a really pretty voice, and I really like the bass line (rest in peace Reita <\3). To me, Shiver is a song that serves as an “appetizer” for the rest of The Gazette’s amazing discography.
OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM put something in this song that makes me feel emotional every time I listen to it. Their discography is nothing short of amazing!
