Today's show was a celebration of Wmbr's 50th anniversary, with all musical selections chosen by 3 of my Saturday WMBR ex-pats - Jake Rich, host of Jake's Juke Joint; Galen Moore, host of The Greasy Spoon; and the Ghost Ryder, host of The Sleepy Holler. Each of them had a show which was broadcast on Saturday, back in their days. So nice to have them all back for one show together! Neither Jake, nor Ryder have appeared on the 'mbr airwaves in years, so this was a truly special occasion. As we were putting the day's soundtrack together spontaneously, we were unable to keep a written record of the playlist.
